How this Metsovo guide is built

Metsovo App is an independent mountain guide built to make Metsovo easier to read on the ground. We focus on village walks, food, wine, winter timing, overnight rhythm and the practical choices that change the quality of a real day in the village.

What we are trying to do

1

We build pages around real mountain-trip decisions

The goal is not to list everything. The goal is to help someone decide whether Metsovo should stay a lunch stop or become an overnight, how to structure the village walk, when Anilio fits, and which food or wine stop actually changes the day.

2

We use local knowledge when it changes the outcome

If the useful part is parking logic, winter timing, square rhythm, cheese shopping, or the difference between one generic stop and one that actually fits Metsovo, we treat that as field intelligence rather than filler.

3

We keep editorial recommendations separate from partnerships

Guide recommendations are editorial calls. Advertising partners and sponsored placements live in clearly labeled partner positions and do not automatically become recommended stops inside the guide pages.

4

We revise pages when we discover something better

If a stronger option appears, if a route works more clearly, or if service quality drops, we update the page. The guide is supposed to improve, not defend an older version of itself.

5

We cross-check the exact public details that should be exact

Business names, official websites, addresses, and stable historical facts are treated differently from changeable local conditions. When a detail should be exact, we try to verify it before publication.

6

We want specific corrections, not vague noise

A useful correction is concrete: a moved business, a wrong phone number, a route that wastes time, a family spot that no longer works as described, or a recommendation whose quality has slipped.

What this means in practice

Want to challenge or improve a page?

Send a correction, a local clarification, or a practical note through support. That is how the guide gets sharper over time.
